I have a Phoenix award workstation BIOS and a ABIT UL8 motherboard. When I try to install Windows 7 32-bit on a SATA drive it boots from the DVD and I see the Windows is loading files screen. It then goes to Starting Windows but doesn't go any further. It then reboots and goes into the same loop. When I go into the BIOS and go to Integrated Peripherals >OnChip IDE Device and change OnChip SATA mode from IDE to RAID the DVD boots normally but it does not see my hard drive. What can I do so that I can install Windows 7?
