Exception In Acmgd.dll Arx Command Autocad 2008
Thanks, we will try to avoid overlays for now. 'Scott Reinemann (Autodesk)' wrote in message news:3372BE8B4FADD84AC4969E2908D983A1@in.WebX.maYIadrTaRb. Hi, I noticed that one of your drawings had xref overlays in it. There is currently a problem with style manager and xref overlays. Please see the post 'Repost of 'HINT: Using Styles with XRef Overlays' (Feb 16th) by Mark Webb for more information and a workaround.
Hope that helps. Scott 'Fernando Rodrigues' wrote in message news5702D3D7E883C050B9034EA2295D95F@in.WebX.maYIadrTaRb. While trying to import a door style from a other drawing, I get the following error: Exception in C: adt3 AecArchx30.arx ARX Command Unhandled Exception C0000005 (Access Violation Reading 0x0000) at Address 78003ABFh After that I can not close the Door Style dialog window, so I have to terminate ADT#3 with the task manager.
Any help will be appreciated. -- Fernando Rodrigues WHR Architects. I loved this add-on feature in previous AutoCAD versions but I can't say it works fine for me in 2009. It loads alright but if i have multiple drawings open and close one, the tab of the drawing I closed remains greyed out and is not removed. The new Quick View Drawings feature is a great idea but I just wish Autodesk would have made it less of a eye pleasing resource hog and more of a fast feature like MdiTab17.arx Update: Well I messed around and unloaded the app and redownloaded it from autodesk webside. I reloaded it and now it appears to be working properly.

I doubt the first link I used was a bad one but just for other people looking here is the link directly from Autodesk for MdiTab17.arx - Message was edited by: beazster. One comment Chris, and don't take this wrong because I REALLY appreciate your answers to the problems we face out here. But isn't it a bit off the wall to think that everyone is going to advance to the next level of AutoCAD at the same time? It will NEVER happen. I understand you are shutting off support for the 2000 version soon, I believe to get people to migrate to something newer, yet I work with subs on my drawings (Surveyors, Engineers, etc.) some of whom are still on 14.
I have subscription and received my 2004 ADT but I also may not be able to use it for months since I don't have the time to set up the endless variables and changes required for the new product to work the way I need it to. So for now I am stuck in 3.3 land. To add to those problems, we are told that 2004 and 3.3 work together so well we can load them up together. I did that to try to set up the new product in my 'spare' time and it slowed my machine down on 3.3 that I need for my livelihood. So I unloaded the 2004 and in doing so lost features in my 3.3 product (my properties information for one) So I had to do a repair to fix my 3.3. (I believe it was you that told me how to fix it, MUCH APPRECIATED BTW) I was then told that information was in the last minute info on the disk.
People told the two versions will work together do not go searching thru the last minute info supplied on a disk somewhere. I know we should but trust that non programmer types don't. That info should be outlined in the setup info booklet so we don't get ourselves into that mess in the first place. A little paper in the setup book or something. Anyway that's my rant for the day! Keep up the good work you do on here cause it is appreciated despite our rants!
The solution can be found on Adobe's website - document 329329. The solution is: Modify the AutoCAD support - file search path.
Change the AutoCAD support file search path so that the AutoCAD Support folder is listed first: 1. Choose Tools Options, and click the Files tab. Expand Support File Search Path, and select the path that lists the AutoCAD Support folder at the end. Click the Move Up button until the path is listed first.
Other solutions are in the Adobe support document #329329,;however this one worked for us. I have used Desktop R2 since it came out and have only finally gotten around to keynotes. The problem that I am running into, is that when I start the keynote command it gives me this error: c: AcadArch aecLS20. Mac Os X Lion Torrent Iso. arx is an invalid ARX file.; error: ARXLOAD failed sdsk Unknown command 'SDSK' Can anyone help me out and tell me what I might not have loaded.
I know that the aecLS20.ARX is in a file, but I can't find the sdsk anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm tired of typing out notes! I am auto loading an ARX file for a custom entity using the ACAD.RX file.
