I really needed the intersection feature, but I was lazy to revert back to the previous version to correct this issue. I just downloaded the huge (145MB) update file. It actually took surprisingly only 15 minutes via my mobile Internet connection, while parked outside on a parking lot.

Upgrading went without any problem. The one slight annoyance I see now is that after typing a street name I need to press the Enter-key on my keyboard twice to go to the next screen. Pressing the Enter-key once should suffice.

This is an issue only occasionally and/or with certain street names. Kudos to Garmin for releasing the updates for Mobile PC often.
