Hello all, After getting so fed up with the audio delay in my westinghouse sk-26h240s, i decided to do a firmware update. Usmt There Is A Problem With This Installer Package Windows. I did everything that the website said to do, and the firmware update did its thing. After it was done it asked me to do the channel search, blah blah blah, all the normal startup stuff. After i was done with that, i turned the tv off.

I turned it back on with the USB device still in the tv, and the firmware update screen showed up again, and since i didnt want it to update again, i turned the tv off (using the on/off switch). When i went to turn the tv back on, the screen shows nothing. THe blue power light lights up when i try to turn the tv on, but the tv screen itself does NOTHING. Not a blank screen, a BLACK screen if you catch my drift. Any ideas on what i screwed up? I called customer support, and as you may know, they are of very little help. But he would likely just have to get a new flash chip with the firmware on it to replace the existing chip.

It is fairly easy with motherboards, but not sure about his particular model, but he does have things he can do, or pay to have done fairly easily I would think. He doesn't have to junk the TV though.
