I am creating a InstallScript project in installshield 2011 and my problem is I want to know the path of the setup from where it is executing Suppose there is a folder name 'project_setup' in which setup.exe and abc.txt file exist.Now at run time I want to copy abc.txt file and paste it to where the setup is installed. Hi, I have a vs2008 solution which contains 3 projects including deployment project. I want to copy a.config from debug folder of one project and paste it into the application folder (Installation folder in deployment project) when I build the deployment project. I know we have to use the prebuildevent property of the deployment project. How can i do this using prebuildevent? I dont know what comments have to use. Also I am not sure whether this is the suitable place for this issue or not.
